World Marriage Day takes place every year on de second Sunday of February. This event is sponsored by Worldwide Marriage Encounter.
The theme of this celebration is “Love One Another” and it aims to recognize husband and wife faithfulness, sacrifice and joy in daily, married life. This event started in 1981 in Baton Rouge, La. when many couples encourage the governor to proclaim St. Valentine´s Day as “We believe in Marriage Day.”
