National Rehabilitation Awareness Week takes place each year on September. On 2008 it will take place on the week of September, 21 – 27.
This event aims to educate people about the benefits and impact of rehabilitation. It is organized by the National Rehabilitation Awareness Foundation in order to promote the value of rehabilitation; highlight the capabilities of people with disabilities; to salute the professionals who provide service to people with disabilities; and to renew our nation's commitment to fulfill the unmet needs of people with disabilities.
