On October 2008, takes place the second year celebration of National Reading Group Month, sponsored by The Women's National Book Association (WNBA). This celebration first took place on October 2007.
This event aims to recognize the fun of group reading and to spread the word and attract many more people to the joys of reading. It also wants to encourage people to form or take part in reading groups.
