Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. It's a perfect opportunity to think about the history of the nursing profession, and to recognize that nursing is very different in the 21st century, but no less important. This day is celebrated to remember all of the valuable contributions nurses make to society.
The Nurses Day theme for 2008 is: Delivering Quality, Serving Communities: Nurses Leading Primary Health Care. Nurses are a vitally important part of the healthcare system and it's great that we are able to set aside a day to thank all nurses for the wonderful contribution they make.
The Odee Company wants to help you recognize the contribution and commitment to health care that nurses made. It is a perfect celebration to bring awareness to the importance of nurses in the care, comfort, and well being of all of us.
