The Christmas Seal Campaign takes place every year from October 1 to December 31. It was started in 1907.
This campaign is organized by the American Lung Association. Their programs aim to fight lung diseases such as asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis, lung cancer and their causes.
This campaign was started by Edward Livingston Trudeau who was diagnosed with tuberculosis in 1871. He started raising money to create tuberculosis hospitals and sanatoriums.
