The YWCA Week Without Violence is a violence prevention campaign led by the YWCA that will take place on October 12th through 18th, 2008 marking the 12th annual YWCA Week Without Violence.
The YWCA Week Without Violence campaign involves children, youth, women and men and focuses on building practical and sustainable alternatives to violence through activities and events at schools, community organizations, neighborhoods and workplaces.
The campaign provides a series of local and national forums designed to encourage communities to discuss issues of violence and to develop collaborative strategies to eliminate it.
